BOURGOGNE BLANC Clos de la Perrière Monopole

"Experience the Essence of Elegance with Our Bourgogne Blanc Clos de la Perrière - A Unique Chardonnay Monopole from the Heart of Corpeau."

Detailed Description: Our Bourgogne Blanc Clos de la Perrière, a true monopole, hails from a unique parcel within the regional appellation of Côte de Beaune. Nestled in the core of Corpeau, just south of Puligny-Montrachet, this vineyard is surrounded by ancient stone walls, giving it the ‘Clos’ designation. It boasts ideal conditions with a distinctive microclimate, enabling grapes to ripen earlier than the surrounding vines.

Organic Vineyard Practices: We cultivate the Clos de la Perrière organically, ensuring the vitality of our old vines. This approach includes abstaining from chemical inputs, meticulous soil cultivation, winter grassing, and fostering the soil’s microbiological activity.

Minimal Intervention in Winemaking: Our winemaking process is characterized by minimal intervention. Grapes are manually harvested, followed by a long, progressive direct pressing to allow natural oxidation of the musts. Fermentation is slow and occurs in wooden vats, using indigenous yeasts.

Aging and Finishing: The wine is aged for 15 months in wooden vats, with no additions or racking, and is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
