Domaine Gueth - PINOT NOIR "FÛT DE CHÊNE"

A slightly woody Pinot Noir.

Dry and mineral wine. Charming, happy and gourmet. Silky red and very slightly oaky.

Intense and deep color with purplish reflections.

Nose : fruity and woody bouquet with very ripe black berries such as Ripe and a touch of vanilla.

Palate : intense, ample with supple tannins. Persistent, silky and saline finish.

Muriel’s advice : Pinot Noir can be drunk immediately but will be at its peak in 3 to 5 years. To be enjoyed with red meats, prime rib with morel sauce, pre-salted rack of lamb, bacon tournedos, Provencal eggplants, roasted parsnips, Bleu des Causses, Reblochon, Cantal, goat cheese

Vines : all young vines planted in 2015, “Guggereben” plot meaning “View of the Vines”, direct neighbor of the “Goldert” Grand Cru.

Terroir : marl and limestone. Composed of clay deposits associated with oolitic limestone pebbles of marine origin.

In the cellar : Whole grapes gently macerated for 10 days. Devatting and end of fermentation in stainless steel vats. Then racking and placing in Burgundy barrels. To avoid pronouncing the woody notes and extracting only a touch of vanilla for 24 months, we use 5-year barrels. Bottled at the estate. We put our wines in reserve to offer them to their best potential.

Degree of alcohol : 14,5 % vol.

Keeping : 2028 to 2032
