Springer - PINOT NOIR ZÁHŘEBENSKÉ 2021

THE VINEYARD:

Záhřebenské 1,4 ha. One of the oldest vineyards in the area, appearing on the maps as old as 1621, formally known as Lumperky or Plumberg. Specific floury-sandy soil on top of lime stone and sand stone. And the microclimat give the wine unique character, and generate exceptional wines. High quality goes hand in hand with small crops. Too much of a good thing...Of course fully organically grown.

WINE CHARACTERISTICS:

Made of clones 777, matured in barriques. Grapes were sweek ( selection of grapes), high phenolic maturity. Bottled in French thick-walled bottles, non-filtered, non-clarified, natural. Cork with TCA-free guarantee. We have a great feedback from people who tasted our Zahrebenske pinot noir, and consider this wine really special.

DEGUSTATION NOTE:

This wine is elegant, easy drinking. Brick colour, tastes of strawberry compote with long persistence. Tannins are sweet. Overall style resembles Volnay. Alcohol 12,5% is well incorporated. Extract 30g/l is evidence of small quality crop. Vintage of 2021 signifies ELEGANCE.
