It is a pure Barbera del Monferrato DOC, with the typical and characteristic aromas of the Barbera del Monferrato Casalese.
The scent of black cherry and black currant, then of fern and cloves, stands out on the nose, while in the mouth there is an excellent pleasure of drinking with a persistent finish of sour fruits.
It is the typical "whole meal" wine, pleasant and flexible with any type of food.
It is simply called "Rosso Pietro", not only because it is the red wine at the base of the Pietro Arditi range, but also in reference to his red beard - even if today, joking about it, Pietro claims that the name should be updated in "Grigio Peter"!

Soil: clay, limestone
Fermentation: in concrete tanks for 21-23 days
Aging: 10-12 months in stainless steel and cement, before bottling
