Muriel’s advice : This Reserve Riesling is best served with poached or creamed oily fish, with white butter as well as white meats in sauce. Perfect with oysters, langoustines, stuffed crab, salmon carpaccio, grilled sea bream. It will also go well with eggplant and tomato caviar, a wok of vegetables and seeds, rooster with Riesling, sauerkraut with fish, goat cheese.
Nose : fruity and very floral. Its bouquet is expressive, open, with aromas of citrus and yellow fruit mixed with white flowers.
Palate : the silky palate reveals ripe citrus fruits with good persistence.
In the cellar : slow and gentle pressing; fermentation without adding yeasts; after fermentation, very moderate sulphiting; maturing 6 months on lees in stainless steel vats; bottling at the estate. We put our wines in reserve to offer them to their best potential.
