Description from winemaker at San Ferdinando: "Sangiovese 1005 is only produced the best years, where we can extract all its natural potential. How it tastes: Intense rub red color, Nose is complex, with minty notes of wild berries, rosemary, black cherry, coffee and spiuces. Lively palate and very present tannin, full bodied wine, wioth good extracts supported by high levels of acidity. Can improve for many years.
How the wine is made: "Grapes are manually picked and sorted by a selection table after the harvest in October. After destemming and light chrushing grapes are vinified separatly in stainless steel tanks for 14-16 days at controlled temprature.
