About the grape and location
Tocai, today renamed Friulano, according to local memory seems to have been settled in Lunigiana for about one hundred years. In our land we had three small vineyards with Tocai grapes, which we had to uproot at the end of the nineties because of their now shabby state.
But we wanted to preserve this small tradition and this original presence, witnessing the good acclimatisation that this grape has had in our land. While preserving its aromatic notes, the resulting wine is markedly influenced by our climate and proximity to the sea, and is rich in mineral content.
Giuncaro farm,Ha 0,65. Gravelly alluvial terrace facing east. Besides the vineyard the vineyard there is a small olive-grove.The planting of the vineyard goes back to 1997.
